Mom-o-Grams: Paper Issues New Issue Monday

I am thrilled to be playing along with the new issue, Mom-o-Grams, at Paper Issues. I wanted to document my littlest's trait of adding "ah" to the end of all his words when he's mad. He had gone to time out and I managed to capture him yelling "mommy-ah" in these pictures. Here's my layout.

I used the Cocoa Vanilla Wild at Heart line for my project, which you can grab in the PI shop for 20% off using my code Amy20. Here are some closeups.

I love chipboard frames, they are great to house your journaling, or just use as embellishments. I did both on my layout.

Make sure you had to the Paper Issues Blog to see what the other designers created for this issue, and see how you can play along. Post your project on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans page on Facebook and you're entered to win a gift card to the Paper Issues shop!

Happy Monday!

Jillibean Soup Cards

Hi strangers, I'm finally back (I hope). I am going to get into a more regular scheduled blogging routine if it kills me. Today I wanted to pop in and share with you some cards I created for Jillibean Soup. Cards really stress me out, but I've created some lately that I actually like.

For these two cards, I used the new Souper Celebration line. It's full of cake, donuts and llamas, what's not to love???

These were created using the Bowl of Dreams line.

Aren't these new lines fun?  I'll be back soon to share some layouts I've created for JBS.

It's time for another fun sketch at Paper Issues. Today I am sharing the sketch and my project I created. You have to make sure to visit the Paper Issues blog to see all the amazing pages the design team created. Here's the sketch.

For my page I used the Pinkfresh Studios Live More line, which is awesome!!

This was a hard layout for me, I'm so sad to think of my oldest heading to college. :( I used the ombre Bazzill for my background. Here are some closeups.

Check out the sketch post on the Paper Issues blog for details on how you can win by playing along with this month's sketch. Have a good weekend!

It's time for a new issue at Paper Issues: Anything Goes!

Today I am sharing a layout I created using Shimelle's Little by Little line, which I used to create a page featuring my boys hockey pictures.

Here is a closeup, stars make me happy!

Make sure to head over to the Paper Issues blog to see the other gorgeous layouts created for our issue, and please play along! Paper Issues had an awesome online crop this weekend, with tons of prizes and challenges. If you haven't checked it out there's still plenty of time to head over and play along. I created a sketch and layout for the crop. Here's the sketch.

Here is my layout based on the sketch.

I used the Cocoa Vanilla Make a Wish line for this layout.

Friday Favorites 2.24.17

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week.  I know I've skipped a couple of Friday Favorites, but we've been one sick family lately.  My youngest started with croup, which turned into a fever for 3 days. Then it transitioned into an ear infection, and he had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. UGH! Then of course I got it, as did the rest of my family. We are all healthy now, knock on wood. Hoping we can go through the rest of the winter, or maybe we're already in spring (???) healthy.

We have had unseasonably warm temps in NOVA, so our week has been awesome. We have an action packed hockey weekend with playoffs starting for both high school and  travel, which I'm really looking forward to. Here are some of my favorites this week.

This sweater with the buttons just makes me happy. It looks like the perfect comfy sweater.

I adore this off the shoulder top. I have a hard time with getting them to look right on me, blah.

I grabbed these shoes this week, and they are AWESOME! Look how cute!

My favorite photo from this week is actually three photos. My son's hockey pictures are in, and they are so cute! The last picture is my hubby and my youngest together. LOVE!

This has taken up so much of my time this week.

I am now addicted to watching the live feed of April the giraffe. She's due to give birth any second, and I find it just fascinating! The above picture was snapped when they allowed the dad to come into the stall with her. The totally wrapped herself around him, it was so sweet.

Hope you have an awesome weekend, I will be praying to the hockey gods for my oldest's weekend of hockey playoffs!

Little By Little product focus

Today I wanted to share a layout I created using the Little By Little line designed by Shimelle.  I love this collection and the bright colors, they were perfect for my layout of my girl and her boyfriend?!?! Can't believe I'm actually typing that, but yes, she has a boyfriend, lord help me.

Here are some closeups. The thickers included in this line are some of my favorites! I love the fonts they used.

You can pick up this line in the Paper Issues shop, and use my code Amy20 to save 20% off any and every thing you purchase!

Have a great day!

Friday Favorites 2.10.17

I am so glad it's Friday. This week was actually uneventful, which isn't a bad thing at all. Everyone seems to finally be healthy, and just plugging along. Here are a few of my favorites from this week.

Hobo Women's Lauren Granite Clutch

I have decided I will be asking for this Hobo wallet quite soon, it's so perfect!!

I saw this Topshop cold shoulder sweater on another blogger and it looked so cute. I'm sure it wouldn't look as cute on me...

This sweater is right up my alley! I love a slouchy sweater.

I ordered this concealer and I really like it! My skin is SO DRY that I need a concealer that's creamy, and this one has impressed me so far. The price tag is icing on the cake!

My favorite photo from this week is another from my girl, I swear I do have 2 other kiddos. :) She got her learner's permit, which means I now have TWO TEENAGE DRIVERS. It makes me cringe just thinking of my insurance.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I am linking up with these wonderful ladies!
